Adrian Wykrota

About

Member of ZPAF (Association of Polish Art Photographers). Photojournalist at the daily Glos Wielkopolski newspaper and curator of the PIX.HOUSE gallery. He is an English philologist who also graduated in cultural studies (specialising in media) and runs the blog: “What about the photograph?”. He has participated in one of the prestigious Magnum Photos agency workshops and was selected by Magnum Photos as one of the 30 best photographers of the young generation. Winner of many competitions including: the Top 30 under 30 -Magnum Photos, IPA, Grand Press Photo, BZWBK Press Photo, Lumix Festival, Leica Street Photo and the Wielkopolska Press Photo. His work has been exhibited in Poland, Germany, England, Lithuania and Bangladesh. He is also the recipient of a scholarship from the Marshal of Wielkopolska and a scholarship from the city of Poznan for young artists.
